1. General provisions
The immersion pump is state-of-the-art technol-
ogy and complies with approved technical safety
regulations.
The immersion pump carries the CE symbol, i.e.
the EU directives and harmonised standards of rel-
evance to the immersion pump were applied during
its design and manufacture.
The immersion pump may only be used in a techni-
cally flawless condition in the version delivered by
the manufacturer.
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to make any
modifications to the immersion pump.
1.1
Safety
Each immersion pump is tested for functionality
and safety before dispatch.
The immersion pump is safe to operate when used
correctly.
Incorrect operation, failure to observe the safety
instructions or misuse may result in dangers for:
•
the life and limb of the operator.
•
the immersion pump and other property of the
operator.
•
the function of the immersion pump.
As operator of the immersion pump, you are re-
sponsible for the following:
•
that all safety instructions are understood and
observed.
•
users complying with the valid rules of industrial
safety.
•
user compliance with personal protection meas-
ures in accordance with the safety data sheet of
the fuel used.
•
ensuring that only instructed persons operate
the immersion pump (see chapter "Operating
the immersion pump").
Danger to life
Non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions may result in danger to life due to
electric current!
•
Check the connection line for damage before
every operation. Have damaged connection
lines immediately replaced by the authorised
customer service / qualified electrician.
•
Do not use the power supply cable to transport
or fasten the unit.
•
Do not pull the power supply cable over sharp
edges or pinch it.

In order to avoid danger, repairs and installation
of replacement parts may only be carried out by
the authorised customer service.

Observe the electrical protective equipment:
•
For safety reasons, we recommend always op-
erating the equipment via a fault-current circuit
breaker (max. 30 mA).
•
The electrical connection may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician. It is mandatory to
observe the national regulations on this!
1.1.1
Maintenance and monitoring
The immersion pump must be regularly checked to
ensure it is in a safe condition.
This inspection includes:

a functional test
•
mandatory inspections
(for details, see chapter "Maintenance and
inspection")
1.1.2
Using original parts
