22 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining
the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
22.1 Safety information
ATTENTION
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device:
► Before cleaning switch off the unit and take the power plug out of the outlet.
► Clean the unit with a soft cloth.
► Don't clean the device with inflammable detergents.
► Clean the device again thoroughly when the machine hasn't been used for a long time.
► Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
22.2 Cleaning
Clean the lid, whisks and the jug with rubber-cuff in warm water with detergent and a soft
cloth. Do not use cold water for cleaning, because the heated glass jug could crack.
Remove the whisk from the jug. Now you can clean the jug in the dishwasher
Lid, whisks and base unit are not suitable for the dishwasher.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the jug.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

ATTENTION
► Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel who are
trained by the manufacturer.
