Food slicer
Instruction manual
-
3. OPERATION
-
The maximum size of food that can be cut is 110 x 100 x 90mm (length x width x thickness).
If the blade (7) rotates slowly during cutting, the food may be too frozen. Allow the food to
-
thaw before further cutting.
NOTE: Do not use the food slicer for more than 5 minutes at a time. The engine may overheat
if used for a prolonged period of time. If this happens, turn off the operating switch (4) and let
the slicer stand for 30 minutes before using it again.
Connect the power cable to a plug socket.
-
-
Place the food to be cut on the food cutting tray (5) and press the food pusher with safety
guard (2) against the thickness guide (1). To prevent food from sticking to the appliance
and to improve sliding, moisten or grease the cutting disc with absorbent paper or a cloth.
-
Turn the adjustable thickness dial (9) to align the thickness guide (1) with the blade (7).
Place a plate or bowl right next to the food slicer to gather the cut slices.
-
Switch on the appliance using the button on the top.
-
-
First bring the safety switch (3) towards you, then simultaneously press the operating
switch (4) and the blade (7) will start to rotate.
-
When the blade (7) starts to rotate, push the tray (5) towards the blade (7). Move the tray
(5) back and forth firmly. Keep the food lightly pressed against the guide to obtain even
slices.
-
When you have finished cutting, turn the operating switch (4) on the top of the machine to
the O position, switch off the machine and unplug it from the mains socket.
Warning!
-
Do not use this product without the food pusher (2) and the food cutting tray (5) in place.
The disc may continue to rotate after the device is switched off. Wait until it comes to a
-
stop.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not wash any parts of the device in the dishwasher!
-
Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scouring pads or sharp or metallic
-
utensils to clean these parts.
