1. APPLICATIONS
The DT-7in MAX diamond blade saw is a powerful and functional
cutter, suitable for cutting all types of manmade and natural tile.
Its advanced water system eliminates most of the dust particles
produced by the cut.
The machine can make straight cuts, angle cuts, miters, and specialty
cuts such as non-through and L-cuts for electrical boxes or heat
registers with ease. With the power, innovation, and versatility, our
Rubi premium features make this the right tool to handle any tile
cutting application.
ATTENTION! Read all of the safety warnings and all of the
instructions. Failure to observe all of the warnings and instructions
indicated below could result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

2.2. GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
1. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and in a good state of operation.
2. REMOVE BLADE WRENCH AND ADJUSTMENT TOOLS. Get used
to checking that blade wrench and adjustment tools are taken away
from the machine before starting it.
3. KEEP THE WORK AREA CLEAN. Untidy work areas and benches
cause accidents.
4. DO NOT USE IN HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS. Do not use
electrical tools in damp or wet places or places that are exposed to
the rain. Keep the work area well lit.
5. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND VISITORS. All visitors must
use safety glasses and stay a safe distance from the work area. Visitors
must not come into contact with the tool or extension cable while it is
in operation.
6. MAKE THE WORKSHOP CHILDPROOF by using padlocks, master
switches or removing the starting keys.
7. DO NOT FORCE THE TOOL. Do a better and safer job by working at
the speed for which it was designed.
8. USE THE TOOL CORRECTLY. Do not force the tool or the
accessory to do work for which it was not designed. Do not use it for
an unintended purpose.
9. USE THE APPROPRIATE EXTENSION CABLE. Ensure that your
extension cable is in good condition. Only use a cable that is of
sufficient thickness to carry the current that your product will use.
A smaller cable will cause a drop in voltage in the line, which will
result in a loss of power and overheating. Table A shows the correct
size depending on the length of cable and the current. In case of
doubt, use the thickest gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the
thicker the cable.
10. WEAR SUITABLE CLOTHING. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves,
ties or jewellery. They can become trapped and pull you towards
moving parts. Rubber gloves and non-slip footwear (boots with rubber
soles) are recommended when working in the open air. Also use a
protective cap to contain long hair.
11. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES WITH SIDE SHIELDS. Glasses
for daily use only have impact-resistant lenses, they are NOT
safety glasses.
12. WORK SAFELY. Use clips or clamps to hold the work whenever
practical, it is safer than using your hand and frees both hands to
use the tool.
13. DO NOT OVERREACH. Maintain your posture and balance
at all times.
14. MAINTAIN THE TOOLS WITH CARE. Keep tools sharp and
clean for better and safer performance. Follow the instructions for
lubrication and changing accessories.
15. DISCONNECT TOOLS. All tools should be disconnected when
not in use, before carrying out maintenance or changing accessories,
wheels, bits, blades, etc.
16. PREVENT ACCIDENTAL STARTUP. Ensure that the switch is off
before plugging in any tool.
17. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES. See the operating manual
for the recommended accessories. The use of the wrong accessories
can cause injury.
18. NEVER LEAN ON THE TOOL. This can result in serious injury if the
tool tips over or the cutting tool starts up accidentally.
19. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Before using the tool, carefully
check to determine if a damaged guard or other part will operate
correctly and carry out its intended function. Check the alignment of
the moving parts, connections of the moving parts, as well as for any
broken parts, the assembly or any other condition that could affect
its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged must be properly
repaired or replaced by an authorized service center in order to
prevent the risk of personal injury.
20. USE THE CORRECT FEED DIRECTION. Insert the part to be
cut to the blade or cutter only against the rotation direction of the
blade or cutter.
21. NEVER LEAVE THE TOOL UNSUPERVISED WHILE IN
OPERATION. TURN OFF THE POWER SUPPLY. Do not leave the tool
until it is completely stopped.
