INNER CUT
1.
Drill a 6 mm (1/4") or larger hole in the workpiece.
2.
Remove the blade from the machine.
3.
Place the workpiece on the table, with the hole aligned over the
table access hole.
4.
Install a blade through the hole in the workpiece.
5.
Place the workpiece against the blade and place the blade guard
foot against the top surface of the workpiece.
6.
Secure the blade guard foot by squeezing the height adjustment
knob.
7.
Remove the workpiece from the blade before turning on the
machine.
8.
Slowly insert the workpiece into the sheet by guiding it and
pressing it against the table.
9.
When cutting is complete, turn off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply, then remove the
blade and workpiece.
CUTTING IN A STRAIGHT LINE
1.
Lift the protective foot of the blade (1) by loosening the height adjustment button (2).
2.
Measuring from the side of the blade, place a ruler on the table at the required distance and parallel to the
blade.
3.
Attach the ruler to the table.
4.
Re-check your measurements and make sure the rule is safe.
5.
Place the workpiece against the blade and place the blade guard foot against the top surface of the
workpiece.
6.
Secure the blade guard foot in place by squeezing the height adjustment knob.
7.
Remove the workpiece from the blade before turning on the scroll saw.
8.
Place the workpiece against the ruler before touching the cutting edge of the workpiece against the blade.
9.
Slowly insert the workpiece into the blade, guiding the workpiece against the ruler and pressing the
workpiece against the table.
10.
When cutting is complete, move the edge of the workpiece beyond the protective foot of the blade.
