2.5) LED
While the tool is in operation, the compression area is lit with four high-luminosity LED lights that
switch off automatically after 180 seconds of inactivity.
2.6) Head rotation
For ease of operation, the tool head can rotate through 180°, allowing the operator to work in the
most comfortable position.
Do not attempt to rotate the head when the hydraulic circuit is pressurised.

2.7) Battery status
X The battery is equipped with LED indicators. The operator can know the remaining autonomy
at any time by pressing the button (P) (Fig. 1):
1 LED flashing: minimum charge, recharge the battery.
2 LEDs illuminated: 50 % capacity
4 LEDs illuminated: fully charged
X With the battery inserted in the tool, the remaining autonomy can also
be checked on the display:
The screen to the side indicates that the battery is discharged and
that its voltage has fallen below a minimum safety threshold. In
this condition the tool will not start, therefore the battery must be
recharged or replaced.
X To replace the battery, remove it by pressing the release button (9) (Ref. to Fig. 1), then insert the
new battery, sliding it into the guides until it locks.
2.8) Using the battery charger
Carefully follow the instructions in the battery charger user manual.
The approximate time to fully recharge a battery is about 40 minutes.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1) Preparation
X Select the appropriate connector for the cable cross-section to be used.
X Strip the cable to the appropriate length.
unzionamento
X Insert the connector into the head as shown in Fig. 4b. If necessary, open the head by moving
the latch (1) outwards (Fig. 3), then close the head.
Make sure that the die (5) and latch (1) are fully engaged (Fig. 4c).
X Position the cable lug so that the indentor acts on the centre of the collar (if compression is
required). For connector types that require two or more compressions, follow the sequence
(1st, 2nd...) shown in Fig. 5a.
X Proceed in the same way for the joint, acting on both sides as shown in Fig. 5b.
