heating will be switched off when the heating switch is pressed again. The display of the current temperature will stop fl ashing, the
preheating light will go out. Heating can be terminated at any time by pressing the preheat button.
Setting the ultrasound run time/ultrasound activation
To set the ultrasound run time, switch the unit on by turning the power switch to the on – I position, use the increase or decrease
time buttons on the ultrasound run panel to set the ultrasound run time from 0 to 30 minutes. The ultrasonic cleaning will start
when the ultrasonic button is pressed. The ultrasonic light on the panel will illuminate. A distinctive sound is heard during ultrasonic
cleaning. The countdown to the end of cleaning will be shown on the ultrasound panel displays in minutes and seconds. The ultra-
sonic cleaning will be switched off when the ultrasonic button is pressed again. The ultrasound light will go out. Ultrasonic cleaning
can be terminated at any time by pressing the ultrasonic button.
Process for removing fl uid from the device
When work is complete, remove the fl uid in the unit's tank. It is forbidden to leave fl uid in the device tank. It can produce deposits
that are diffi cult to remove and, as a result of a drop in temperature, for example, can freeze and damage the appliance. Wear
protective gloves before removing the fl uid. Switch the appliance off by moving the switch to the off position – O. Disconnect the
appliance from the power supply by pulling the plug from the mains socket. Allow the cleaning fl uid and the unit housing to cool
completely. Prepare a vessel of suffi cient capacity into which to remove the fl uid from the cleaner tank. Cleaning fl uids must not
be poured down the drain or into the soil, they must be disposed of in accordance with the instructions supplied with the fl uid.
Disposal may be governed by local regulations. Place a vessel under the outlet of the drain valve that is capable of holding the
amount of fl uid in the cleaner tank. Slowly move the lever of the drain valve to the open position – parallel to the valve (V). The
process of removing the fl uid from the unit should be supervised at all times; this will prevent, for example, the fl uid from spilling
outside the vessel. Once the fl uid has been removed, move the drain valve lever to the closed position – perpendicular to the valve
(II). Grasping the handles, carefully pull the basket with the cleaned items out of the tank, so that any residual fl uid that may be on
the basket and items does not enter the housing of the appliance. Proceed with the maintenance of the unit.
The drain valve has been fi tted with a threaded connection that allows a hose to be connected to facilitate draining the cleaner
tank.
Maintenance
Caution! Before each cleaning, turn off the product, unplug the power cord plug from the electric outlet, wait for the device to cool
down and then proceed with maintenance. Use only mild kitchen cleaning agents to clean it. Never use abrasive cleaning agents,
e.g. cleaning powder or milk, or agents containing corrosive substances. Do not use any solvents, petrol or alcohol to clean the
product. Dilute the cleaning agent with water, according to the instructions supplied with it. Then, apply it on a soft cloth and clean
the outside and inside of the product. Remove any residues of the cleaning agent with a soft cloth slightly soaked in clean water.
Then, dry all surfaces with a dry soft cloth. NOTE! The product is not designed for water jet cleaning. Do not immerse the product
in water or other liquid.
Transport and storage
If the product is not to be used for a longer period, turn it off and unplug the power cord plug from the electric outlet. Thoroughly
clean the product. Leave the lid of the tank open to thoroughly dry the inside. After drying, close the lid. If stored, keep the product
indoors, and make sure it is not exposed to dust, dirt, or moisture. It is recommended to store the product in its original packaging.
Store and transport the product in the working position. Do not tilt or place the products in layers. Do not place anything on the
product.
