2. INTRODUCTION
The main characteristics of Jet Smart hand dryers are as follows:
• Automatic functioning. The hand dryer will automatically turn on when hands
are detected by IR sensors. Sensibility of these sensors can be regulated through
the potentiometers placed inside the device.
• HEPA Filter. The device is equipped with large HEPA filter what allows less
frequent replacement and facilitates aspiration, what increases air flow. The
filter is easy to access, clean and remove.
• Antibacterial ABS. The device is manufactured from ABS plastic which contains
some additives that avoid proliferation of bacteria, fungi and mould
• Water tank. Hand dryer has a wáter tank to recover wáter from hands during
drying process. The wáter tank must be empty and cleaned regularly.
• High performance and low consumption. Heating element of the device turns
off automatically when room temperature is above 25º, saving energy.
• High performance. Drying time is only between 10 to 12 seconds, what makes it
suitable for areas with high traffic of people
• Alarms. Several alarms are included to warn about maintenance needs: water
tank full, change of HEPA filters, change of motor brushes.
