1. SAFETY
IDENTIFICATION OF WARNINGS
MEANING
DANGER
This term defines a high risk of danger, which can lead
to death or serious injury, if not avoided.
NOTICE
This term defines dangers to the machine and its prop-
er operation.
Warning of a general danger.
The danger is specified by indications given in the table.
Warning about the dangers associated with the electri-
cal voltage and provides information about protection
against electrical voltage.
DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY!
2. DESCRIPTION
2.1 APPLICATION
Sanifloor + is a compact suction pump designed to evacuate wastewa-
ter from a shower only.
NOTICE
Ö Do not dispose of products such as solvents, cement remov-
ers, paints, caustic soda, acids or other chemicals in the shower
gulley attached to this device.
This device is intended for strictly domestic application and requires
regular maintenance.
THE MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY IF USED FOR ANY
OTHER PURPOSES.
2.2 OPERATING MODE
The device Sanifloor + consists of 3 elements :
- a shower gulley including a water level detection sensor with radio
wave transmitter,
- a remote box fitted with a radio receiver and which controls the pump,
- a suction pump.
When the water reaches the switch-on level in the gulley, the detection
module sends out a radio signal. The sensor in the remote box picks up
this signal, the green operation LED lights up, and the pump starts af-
ter a delay of 2 seconds. The pump sucks in water and allows it to flow
towards the wastewater pipe.
NOTICE
Incorrect installation configuration.
Risk of radio communication disruption.
Ö Install the remote box in the same room as the shower gulley
hole.
IMPORTANT
This system is sensitive to anything that can interfere with the emission
of radio waves (presence of metal objects, walls etc). The range can
therefore be reduced depending on the configuration of the installation.
2.4 DESCRIPTION OF THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The Sanifloor + radio communication systems consists of a transmitter
and a radio wave receiver. It allows remote control of the single-phase
220-240 V AC pump of the Sanifloor +. The pump's on/off control is
done automatically according to the water level in the shower gulley.
• Radio frequency: 868 MHz
• Receiver: power supply 220-240 V AC, 50-60 Hz
• Transmitter: power supply 3V DC
2.5 DESCRIPTION OF THE TRANSMITTER DETECTION
MODULE
The transmitter detection module is in the shower gulley.
AUTONOMY
The transmitter detection module has an autonomy of 4,500 hours in
operation (shower cycles). The sensor's standby consumption is neg-
ligible.
IMPORTANT
The battery life may be reduced in certain abnormal use situations in
which the float is permanently engaged, which causes continuous battery
consumption. Eg: module stored upside down, module submerged
without possible evacuation of water (mains power cut, pump blocked,
evacuation pipe blocked, etc).
When the battery in the sensor module falls below 20% capacity, the
green operating LED on the remote unit starts to flash to indicate low
battery charge.
The module must be replaced with a new one when the battery is dis-
charged.
STORAGE
NOTICE
Do not turn the module over for extended periods of
time during maintenance, cleaning or storage!
Risk of battery discharge.
Ö Store the module in the same direction as it is in the gulley.
Always put the module back the correct way round so it no longer
consumes its battery:

2.6 DESCRIPTION OF THE REMOTE SENSING BOX
The remote box contains the sensor card which controls starting and
stopping of the suction pump.

briefly
Receipt of a radio signal from a module with low bat-
flashing
tery. Change the battery in the sensor module. Pressing
continually
the override button will extinguish the LED.
OVERRIDE
Pressing the override button will run the pump for 20 mins, whatever
the status of the sensor module in the shower gulley. The LED stays on
while in override.
NOTE
A long press (more than 5 seconds) on the power button starts the
pairing procedure (see 2.6 Pairing procedure).
The timer can be stopped by pressing this button again.
2.7 PAIRING PROCEDURE
The transmitter module and the receiver are paired during manufac-
turing.
There may be times when pairing has to be repeated, for example when
the sensor module is replaced.
INSTRUCTIONS
Requirements: - The pump is off. The green LED on the housing is off.
- The transmitter detection module is outside the
shower gulley.
1. Press and hold the override button on the remote box for 5 seconds.
Result: The green LED starts to flash.
2. Turn the detection module upside down.
Result: The LED changes to on and the pump starts.
3. Turn the detection module right side up.
Result: The new pairing is stored.
4. Exiting the procedure: if no action is taken for 30 seconds the LED
goes out and the unit resumes user mode.
CARRY OUT A PAIRING TEST: turn the detection module upside down
for at least 2 seconds then turn it back the right way up.
