WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always strap your child in; never leave them in the
carrier unattended!
Only use this carrier with children who are able to
sit unsupported!
The carrier is suitable for leisure activities, but not
for sports.
This particularly applies to sports that involve
speed, such as skiing, ski touring and cycling.
When the child sits in the carrier, it may be taller
than the adult. Please therefore pay attention to
dangers such as door frames, low tree branches etc.
Movements of the child and the adult carrying the
child can affect the adult's balance. Please ensure
you are standing firmly and remain on solid ground!
The adult carrying the child must be very careful
when bending over or leaning forwards!
Take care when putting on and taking off
the carrier!

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
The straps for the child and the adult have to be
adjusted and closed as described in this instruction
manual!
This child carrier is only suitable for children
weighing no more than 18 kg and are no taller
than 105 cm!
The front pocket (1) of the child carrier is only
suitable as a storage compartment for the most
important small items!
Maximum load of bottom compartment 4 kg
Permissible total weight: 22 kg
Please consider that the child in the carrier is more
exposed to the weather than the adult carrying the
child!
If the child is in the carrier for too long the child's
blood circulation in the legs can be affected!
Please consider that the person carrying the child
generates heat through movement and perceives
the air temperature in a different way to the child
sitting still in the child carrier. Please check the
temperature of the child's hands and feet at regular
intervals!

When it is either extremely hot or extremely cold,
please make sure that no metal parts are within
reach of the child (such as karabiners, metal
bottles, metal toys etc.), which can cause damage
to the child's skin if it comes into contact with it!
The child in the carrier is likely to get tired more
quickly than the adult carrying it. Please take
frequent breaks!
When the carrier gets close to the ground you must
make sure that the child's feet do not get injured!
To prevent the carrier from falling over, only set it
down on the ground (not on tables, benches etc.).
Ensure when setting it down that the ground is
level.
Only accessories and spare parts manufactured by
VAUDE may be used!
Do not modify the carrier or accessories in any way!
Before each use, check the carrier for damage
or missing parts. Please regularly check that all
connecting parts are secure. Do not use the carrier
if it has a damaged or missing part!
Folding out the support base: ensure the support
base joint is always fully extended to its locked
position.
