Fitting/changing the accessory
(see figures A and B)
Remove the accessory if one has already been fitted.
To remove the accessory, use the hex key (17) to loosen the
clamping bolt (16) and remove the tool.
Position the required accessory (e.g. plunge cut saw blade
(11)) on the accessory holder (9) so that the depressed
centre is facing downwards (see figure on the graphics page,
text on the accessory should be legible from above).
Turn the accessory to a position which is convenient for the
job at hand and allow it to lock into place in the cams of the
tool holder (9). Twelve positions offset by 30° are possible
for this.
The built-in magnet (10) holds the accessory in the required
position in order to make it easier to mount.
Secure the accessory using the clamping bolt (16). Tighten
the clamping bolt using the hex key (17) until it is flush with
the accessory.
Check that the accessory is seated securely. Accessor-
u
ies that are attached incorrectly or are not securely fixed
in place may come loose during operation, thereby put-
ting you at risk.
Fitting and adjusting the depth stop (see figure C)
The depth stop (18) can be used when working with seg-
ment saw blades.
Remove the accessory if one has already been fitted.
Slide the depth stop (18) over the tool holder (9) and onto
the collar of the power tool as far as it will go, with the la-
belled side facing upwards.

Application
For pre-sanding, e.g. of rough and uneven beams and
boards
For surface sanding and levelling of slight irregularities Medium
For finish-sanding and fine sanding of wood
The depth stop is intended for the following cutting depths:
– With segment saw blades ACZ 85 .. with a diameter of
85 mm: Cutting depths 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and
14 mm (information on the depth stop in a larger font size
and without brackets).
– With segment saw blades ACZ 100 .. with a diameter of
100 mm: Cutting depths 14 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm and
20 mm (information on the depth stop in a smaller font
size and in brackets).
Insert the appropriate segment saw blade for the desired
cutting depth. Slide the depth stop (18) from the tool holder
(9) in the direction of the accessory until you can rotate it
freely. Rotate the depth stop (18) so that the desired cutting
depth is above the section of the saw blade that will be used
to saw. Slide the depth stop (18) onto the collar of the
power tool once again as far as it will go.
Remove the depth stop (18) for all other cutting depths and
for working with other accessories. To do this, remove the
accessory and pull the depth stop away from the collar.
Fitting the Auxiliary Handle (accessory)
The low-vibration auxiliary handle (24) enables the tool to
be used safely and more comfortably.
Screw the auxiliary handle into the thread (8) on the left or
right of the machine head depending on how you are work-
ing.
Do not continue to use the power tool if the auxiliary
u
handle is damaged. Do not make any alterations to the
auxiliary handle.
