5.1.3. USING THE TELESCOPIC TUBE
Connect the telescopic tube (20) to clean floors or for extra reach.

Attaching a cleaning tool
■
The cleaning tools (1, 2, 4, 5, 16 and 17) can be attached
to the lower end of the telescopic tube (20) (Fig. 3A), or
the handle of the suction hose (7) (Fig. 3B).
■
Simply align the cleaning tool of your choice with the
connecting part and push firmly until it locks into place.
Removing a cleaning tool
■
To remove a cleaning tool, hold the neck of the tool and
pull it out.
■
Never pull the power cord, lift the appliance up by it or
allow it to get trapped in doors or rub against corners.
■
Never pull the vacuum cleaner along by its power cord.
■
Hold onto the power cord when you are rewinding it.
Never allow the power cord to freely rewind.
■
The batteries (included) contain substances that
can harm the environment. Before disposing of this
appliance permanently, the batteries must be removed.
■
Do not dispose of the batteries or appliance with
household waste. In order to protect the environment,
the battery and appliance must be disposed of according
to current regulations.
■
Dispose of them in the appropriate recycling container
or return it to your retail store.
Attaching the telescopic tube
■
Insert the handle of the suction hose (7) into the upper
end of the telescopic tube (20) and push the handle
firmly until it locks into place (Fig. 4).
■
Insert the lower end of the telescopic tube (20) into the
cleaning tool and push the tube firmly until it locks into
place (Fig. 4). Twist the tube slightly for easier insertion
if necessary.
Accessories holder
■
The accessories holder (3) can be clipped onto the
telescopic tube (20) to keep cleaning tools handy during
cleaning (Fig. 5).
