The ISOFIX Base is designed, tested and approved in accordance
with the requirements of the European Standard for Child Safety
Equipment (ECE R 44/04). The test mark E (in a circle) and the
approval number can be found on the approval label (sticker on the
ISOFIX Base).
NOTE:
The product is only tested and approved for fastening the child seat
in the vehicle. The approval will be invalidated if any modifications
are made to the child seat.
WARNING
The product must be used only in combination with Audi child
seats.

Assembly
5.1
Which seats can be used?
WARNING
Danger to life!
Never fasten a rear-facing child seat on the front passenger seat if
the front passenger airbag is activated.
If, in exceptional cases, it is necessary to carry a child on the front
passenger seat, deactivate the front passenger airbag.

5.3
Installing the ISOFIX Base
5.3.1 Vehicle preparation
► Make sure that the ISOFIX fixtures on your vehicle are freely acces-
sible.
■ On certain vehicles, the ISOFIX insertion aids can aid installation
and prevent the seat cover from being damaged
■ On vehicles with folding backrests, the insertion aids must be re-
moved before folding
