5.3.3 Fixing the ISOFIX Base

► Press and hold the adjusting button and pull out the arm as far as it
will go
► Place the ISOFIX Base on the relevant vehicle seat
► Take hold of the ISOFIX Base with both hands and push the two
ISOFIX arms (4) into the ISOFIX fixtures
■ The two ISOFIX arms must audibly engage
► Check that they are fixed correctly using the child seat release kn-
obs (7)
■ The two child seat release knobs (7) must have switched to green
► Press and hold the two adjusting knobs (3) and push the ISOFIX
Base towards the backrest until the Base is in firm contact with it
► Release the two ISOFIX arm adjusting knobs (3) and push the ISO-
FIX Base towards the backrest of the vehicle seat again
■ The two ISOFIX arm adjusting knobs (3) must audibly engage
► Check that the Base is located correctly using the ISOFIX arm ad-
justing knobs (3)
■ The two ISOFIX arm adjusting knobs (3) must have switched to
green
NOTE:
You can pull on the on the ISOFIX Base to ensure it is correctly
located.
The Base must no longer work loose from both ISOFIX mounting
fixtures.

5.3.4 Setting up the support bracket

► Push the support bracket adjusting knob (2) and pull the support bra-
cket (1) out until it lies in the footwell
► Release the support bracket adjusting knob (2)
► Hold the bottom end of the support bracket (1) tight and gently pull
the ISOFIX Base upwards until the support bracket adjusting knob
(2) engages
■ The support bracket adjusting knob (2) must audibly engage
► Check correct fixing using the adjusting knob on the support bracket
(2)
■ The support bracket adjusting knob (2) must have switched to
green
5.4 Removing the ISOFIX Base

► Push the support bracket adjusting knob (2) on the support bracket
(1) and push the support bracket upwards as far as it will go
► Pull the two release knobs (7) in the direction of travel to detach the
ISOFIX Base
► Take hold of the ISOFIX Base in both hands and pull it from the ISO-
FIX child seat mounting fixtures
► Remove the ISOFIX Base from the vehicle
5.4.1 Retracting the ISOFIX Base support bracket

► Push the support bracket adjusting knob (2) and slide the support
bracket (1) into the second position from above
► Pull out the support bracket (1) (do not push the support bracket ad-
justing knob) as far as it will go Fold the support bracket beneath the
ISOFIX Base and lock it on the ISOFIX Base.
