1. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRUNER
1.1 Purpose of the Manual
This manual gathers the necessary instructions for a correct and safe
use of the electric pruner of the ARES Series, hereinafter also defined as a
"machine", distributed by IBEA.
Before using the machine, it is important to carefully read and follow the
instructions in this manual, as from the observance of the indications,
together with proper maintenance, depends on the regular operation
and the duration of the machine itself.
NB: This manual is an integral part of the machine, it must always
accompany you in every move or resale. We recommend storage in a
safe place, of which all possible users should be informed.
1.2 Identification of the machine
The machine is equipped with an identification plate with the following
data:
• Name of the company responsible for CE marking and full address;
• Name of the product;
• Serial number;
• Year of construction;
• Indicators for disposal, "CE" marking;
• Obligation to read the manual.

1.3 Machine description and technical data
The ARES series is designed to make pruning work easier. The cutting
head consists of a bar on which the chain with sharp teeth is mounted.
The sliding on the bar is possible thanks to the toothed pinion on which
it is inserted and locked. The integrated battery (plug-in) allows the
machine to be operated.
Inside the convenient carrying case there is also a maintenance kit.
Finally you will find the battery charger.
