4.2 Storage
If the machines are not going to be used for a long time, the following
operations must be carried out:
- Disconnect the battery from the machine.
- Clean the machine, freeing it from any residues of dirt deposited under
the protective casing of the bar and the motor, including the other parts.
- Carry out a check and replace any parts damaged/worn by use at an
authorized assistance centre.
During long periods of non-use, remember to recharge the
battery every 3 months. Then repeat the operations described
above to put it to rest. Carefully carry out the maintenance
operations described above.
4.3 Dismantling of machines
Deliver your used machines to an official material recycling centre. IBEAly
contribute to the protection of the environment by applying elimination
and recovery methods also in relation to the packaging materials used
to package the machine. Your local authority will be able to inform you
about the most effective ways and possibilities for disposing of your old
instrument in an environmentally friendly manner.
The waste must be collected separately and cannot be
assimilated to household waste.
