8.4.1
Inserting the tool attachment (Fig. 6)
Note:
You can insert the tool attachments into any grid posi-
tion in the tool attachment receiver.
1. Fold the lever (1) up and hold it in this position.
This raises the union nuts(8) and releases the tool
attachment receiver (7).
2. Inserting tool attachments when the tool receiver is
open:
Insert the tool attachment into the tool attachment
receiver (7).
Loosen the union nut (8), using a slotted screw-
driver (not included in the scope of delivery) if re-
quired.
3. Inserting tool attachments when the tool receiver is
closed:
Use a slotted screwdriver (not included in the scope
of delivery) to loosen the union nut (8).
4. After inserting, use a slotted screwdriver (not included
in the scope of delivery) to re-tighten the union nut (8).
5. Press the lever (1) down completely.
Note:
Check that the tool attachment is fitted securely.
Tool attachments that are not fitted correctly or securely
may come loose during operation and injure you.
8.4.2
Removing the tool attachment
1. Fold the lever (1) up and hold it in this position.
This raises the union nuts(8) and releases the tool
attachment receiver (7).
2. Removing tool attachments when the tool receiver
is open:
Remove the tool attachment from the tool attach-
ment receiver (7).
Loosen the union nut (8), using a slotted screw-
driver (not included in the scope of delivery) if re-
quired.
3. Removing tool attachments when the tool receiver is
closed:
Use a slotted screwdriver (not included in the scope
of delivery) to loosen the union nut (8). Remove the
tool attachment from the tool attachment receiver (7).
4. After inserting, use a slotted screwdriver (not included
in the scope of delivery) to re-tighten the union nut (8).
5. Press the lever (1) down completely.

Adjusting the oscillation rate (fig.
8)
Note:
The required oscillation rate depends on the material
and the working conditions, and can be determined by
a practical trial.
1. Use the speed control (5) to select the oscillation
rate.

8.6
Switching on/off (fig. 7, 9)
ATTENTION
Before use, check the inserted tool to ensure all fas-
tening parts are attached correctly.
Note:
• Always hold the product tight with both hands
during work. Make sure that you have a secure
footing.
• Do not machine material containing asbestos.
Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.
CAUTION
Keep your hands away from the tool attachment
when the product is in operation.
Switching on
1. Push the ON/OFF switch (2) into position I to switch
the product on.
Switching off
1. Push the ON/OFF switch (2) into position 0 to
switch off the device.
8.6.1
This product is equipped with an LED work lamp to illu-
minate the immediate work area and improve visibility
in poorly lit environments.
CAUTION
Do not look directly into the LED work lamp or the
light source.
1. The LED work lamp (9) lights up automatically as
soon as the product is switched on.
Note:
The LED work lamp remains lit up for approx. 10 sec-
onds after the product is switched off.
8.7
Test run
Note:
Before the first work and after each tool attachment
change, carry out a test run without load. Switch off the
product immediately if the tool attachment runs out of
round, there is considerable vibration or abnormal nois-
es are heard.
