– Push the belt height adjuster -2- down as far as it will go.
– Unclip the upper section of the B-pillar trim -1- from the B-
pillar -arrows A-. To do this, position the removal wedge
-3409- on the lower edge of the trim.
– Pull the upper section of the B-pillar trim out of the fixture on
the body. To do this, swivel the trim inwards while pulling it
downwards.
– Remove the upper section of the B-pillar trim through which
the belt is threaded -3-.
Notes on installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order. Please note the fol-
lowing points:
WARNING
◆ Observe the relevant safety regulations
◆ Do not connect the curtain airbag when installing the
B-pillar trim.
Note
Make sure that the seat belt height adjuster is in the lowest po-
sition.
– First insert the B-pillar trim -3- upwards into the fixture on the
roof.
● Fixture -2- for the sliding part on the B-pillar trim must en-
gage in retaining pins -1- on the seat belt height adjuster -
arrow-.

– Remove the lower left-hand section of the A-pillar trim

– Remove the upper left-hand section of the B-pillar trim

– Place the upper left-hand section of the B-pillar trim through
which the belt is threaded to one side.
– Unclip the lower section of the B-pillar trim -1- from the B-pil-
lar using the removal lever -80 - 200-, starting from the top -
arrows A, B and C-.
– Using the removal wedge -3409-, unclip the lower section of
the B-pillar trim from the side member -arrows D- and re-
move.
