CONNECTING THE UNIT TO THE ELECTRICAL
CURRENT
ATTENTION:
•
Make sure the electrical specifi cations on
the technical data label of the unit corre-
spond to those of the electrical network.
•
DM77, DT77 models only: Make sure the
direction of rotation of the turbine is cor-
rect. This can be verifi ed by checking if
there is a vacuum or air depression at the
vacuum inlet. If not, the direction of rota-
tion can be corrected by reversing the po-
larity of the unit's plug.
TURNING ON THE UNIT
•
The switch must be in the "0" or "off " posi-
tion.
•
Attach the plug to the electrical current
socket.
•
Turn on the unit by pressing the switch in
the "I" or "on" position.
•
Make sure the direction of rotation of the
turbine is correct by verifying air depres-
sion at the vacuum inlet as described
above.
TO EMPTY THE RECOVERY TANK
•
Turn off the unit (switch in the "0" posi-
tion.
•
Disconnect the plug from the electrical
current socket.
•
Release the tank by raising the tank fi xture
handle bar.
•
Remove the tank, and proceed with the
emptying and cleaning procedures.
•
Put the tank back into its original position
and fi x it in place by pressing down on the
fi xture handle bar.
Never leave waste material of any kind
•
in the tank for long periods of time.

Do not fi ll the tank over the limit of
•
the warning peep hole.
TO CLEAN THE FILTER
•
Make sure the unit is turned off (switch in
the "0" position).
•
The fi lter can be cleaned using the special
fi lter-cleaning handle on the lid or on the
side of the upper tank.
TO REPLACE THE FILTER
•
Make sure the unit is turned off (switch in
the "0" position).
•
Disconnect the plug from the electrical
current socket.
•
Unlatch the lid, raise it and remove the fi l-
ter.
•
Using a screw driver, loosen the fi xture
bank around the fi lter and remove the fi l-
ter from the ring.
•
Replace the fi lter with a new one, tighten
the same original fi xture band around the
ring, and replace the fi lter assembly back
into its original position on the tank
•
Make sure the fi lter cleaning handle on the
lid is perpendicular to the suction hose.
•
Close the latches on the lid.
