Important Safety Instructions
When using this device, the following basic precautions should be always followed.
1. The device is intended for household use only and not for medical or commercial purposes.
2. The device should only be used by children aged 9 and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or cognitive capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understood the hazards involved.
3. Do not use the device for more than 30 minutes each time. Excessive use may cause the
device to overheat and shorten its lifespan.
4. Children should not play with the device.
5. Cleaning and maintenance should not be made by children.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. Always unplug the device after use and before cleaning.
2. Never use pins or other metal fasteners with the device.
3. Never unzip the device.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
1. Please consult your doctor before use if you are a user of the following types:
-Children under 9
-Pregnant or postpartum women
-Persons with a pacemaker or implanted medical devices
-Persons suffering from diabetes or other sensory impairment
-Persons with open wounds, discolored areas or any part of the body that is swollen,
burned, inflamed or where skin eruptions or sores are present
-Persons with increased or reduced sensitivity to heat
-Persons suffering from osteoporosis, weak bones, abnormal or curved spine or other
acute pains
-Persons with injured massage areas
-Persons having received cardiac or visceral surgery
-Persons easy to get sprained or injured
-Persons feeling any discomfort (e.g. inflamed skin, redness, itching, etc.)
2. Never leave the device unattended when it is plugged in. Unplug the device when not in
use and before putting on or removing parts.
3. Do not operate under a blank or pillow. Excessive heat may occur and cause fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
4. Close supervision is necessary when the device is used by, on or near children, sick
persons or those with disabilities.
5. Do not use the attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Never operate the device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if
it has been dropped, damaged or dropped into water. Return the device to a service
center for examination and repair.
7. Do not carry the device by the power cord or use the power cord as a handle.
8. Keep the power cord away from the heated surfaces.
9. Do not use the device outdoors.
10. Do not operate in areas where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
11. To disconnect, switch all controls OFF and unplug the device.
12. If a high temperature or foul odor occurs, please stop using the device immediately and
unplug it.
13. The device has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using
the device.
14. Use the heated surfaces with care to avoid burns. Do not use it on insensitive skin or on a
