Target group
Any electrical system like the one described in this manual must only be installed by
professionally skilled personnel (qualified electrical technician).
Safety measures
The following safety measures must be observed prior to putting the control device into
use:
Do not modify the control device or its electrical or mechanical connections.
Install the control device in an appropriate place and in the position indicated
in the manual.
Do not remove any part of the control device.
Never install the control device with a faulty motor.
Disconnect power before working on the control device. Just switching off the
control device is not sufficient.
Make sure that nobody can switch on the power unexpectedly while work is
being carried out.
Never work on electrical installations during a thunderstorm.
Commissioning, setting and testing can only be performed by professionally
skilled personnel (qualified electrical technician).
Ensure that all protection and safety devices are restored immediately after
completing works.
Ensure that all electrical connections and protection devices have been
checked and that all safety devices have been set correctly before switching on.
Make sure that no danger zones are accessible (e.g. electrical connections).
Read the pump manufacturer's instructions before switching on the control
panel.
Repairs must only be carried out by authorized professional workshops. Use
Coverco genuine parts only.
Storage, transportation and disposal
Storage
Do not remove the control device from its original packaging until the time of
installation.
Keep the manual with the control device in the packaging.
Do not store the control device in direct sunlight or close to other sources of
heat.
Transportation
Observe temperature and humidity specifications during transportation (-25°C to
+55°C without condensation).
Unpacking
After unpacking the control device, check for external damage that may affect the
safety of the control device such as a damaged enclosure, loose cable glands etc.
Dispose the packaging material in compliance with the local regulations.
