PROGRAMMING
The AB4G device supports different types of programming:
Remote programming with SMS messages.
The AB4G device can be remotely programmed by sending special SMS messages. The presence of the installer/administrator at the physical location
where the AB4G is installed is not required. Any update can be performed from anywhere in the world (with the only condition being that SMS messages
can be sent to AB4G).
It is necessary to send SMS messages from one of the administrator numbers or that the security level has previously been set to 0
(SL=0).0)
The rules for writing the message are given below:
- the message must begin with a semicolon (;) followed by the name of the parameter to be programmed = the value and end with a semicolon (;);
- if several parameters are to be programmed, they can be included in the same SMS (maximum 160 characters) as in the example below:

Programming with a PC.
It is possible to programme the AB4G device (in which the SIM card has already been inserted and which is connected to
the mobile radio network) with a PC connected via a USB port and using the "mycom manager" software.The program
can be downloaded from the Download section of www.farfisa.com

Programming via EISWARE WEB App (iOS) or EASYSET (Android)
Since the AB4G device saves the parameter settings on a special section of the Cloud, it is also possible to configure
the parameters via WEB (www.easyset.eu) or with the dedicated App (by visiting the AB4G article page at www.farfisa.
com you can download the App guide). The conditions for programming via WEB or App are the following
- no security level has been set (SL=0). This setting is provided in the device's factory configuration;
- the SIM used allows data traffic on the 4G network and has a data plan that includes the necessary GBytes.
SMS
Once the App has been downloaded and started up, and
after registration, the page where the new device is ad-
ded is accessed. Only the fields relating to the telepho-
ne number, which must be preceded by its international
prefix (+44 in the case of a UK SIM) and the APN (the
SIM operator) must be filled in.
