Numbers of calls:
- up to 34 calls AB4G can be
used with CT2138AB button
modules and the single-row
setting (BMD=0);
- up to 68 calls, AB4G can be
used with CT2138AB button
modules, but the double
row configuration (BMOD=1)
must be set up;
- beyond 68 calls, it is nec-
essary to use AB4G with the
DD2140AB display module
and PD2100AB digital hand-
set. Also in this case it is nec-
essary to set up the double
row configuration (BMOD=1);
- the KPTx parameter (with x ranging
from 1 to 200) defines the maximum
time (in seconds) each member of the
x-th group has to answer the call. The
factory-set value for all groups is 25
seconds. The timer is activated when
the called telephone (KPAx) starts to
ring. If the KPTx timer expires before
the voice connection takes place, the
AB4G device calls the next numbers
(KPBx and KPCx) in sequence.
Note: an answer from the answering
service possibly made available to
the customer by the fixed or mobile
telephone operator is also to be con-
sidered as an answer and, as such,
interrupts the sequence of calls.
Single- or double-button ope-
ration.
The AB4G module and the CT2138AB
button modules can be configured ei-
ther as single-button or double-button
modules.
The BMOD parameter selects the oper-
ating mode of the AB4G module's call
buttons and those of any CT2138AB
add-on button modules connected to it:
BMOD=0 single-key operation, press-
ing both the right and left key
calls the same user.
BMOD=1 double key operation,
pressing the right or left key
calls different users.
Door locks release during the
conversation.
By factory setting, the two outputs have
a monostable behaviour. During the
conversation, by activating the keypad
on your smartphone that allows DTMS
tones to be sent, you have 3 possibilities
to activate the outputs and consequent-
ly open the locks connected to them:
enter 01
activation of both outputs
at the same time;
enter 11
activation of output 1 only;
enter 21
activation of output 2 only.
In the case of bistable behaviour, the
following commands are also added:
enter 00
deactivate both outputs
simultaneously;
enter 10
deactivate only output 1;
enter 20
deactivate only output 2.
Notes:
- to be valid, the 2-digit combi-
nation must be entered within
2 seconds and must not be pre-
ceded or followed, for at least
3 seconds, by other numbers;
- in the case of simultaneous
activation of outputs, it is nec-
essary to assess whether the
power supply used is suitably
dimensioned to support the
overall load.
Maximum conversation du-
ration
The LOT parameter is used to define
the duration in seconds of voice calls
(x=1÷9999). The connection activates
the LOT timer, if the voice connection is
still active when the talk time expires,
the device automatically disconnects
the connection.
By factory setting, the maximum dura-
tion of the conversation with the user is
90 seconds. If it is necessary to change
this setting, a programming SMS can be
sent with the following content:
;LOT=120;
Management of
inputs IN1 and IN2.
By factory setting, closing the IN1 input
to GND activates the OUT1 output, while
closing the IN2 input to GND activates
the OUT2 output. This allows two door
opener buttons to be connected to IN1
and IN2. The parameters that regu-
late the behaviour of inputs IN1 and
IN2 are listed below together with the
values that these parameters can as-
sume:
- parameters IN1 and IN2 can be con-
figured with the values listed:
0
Normally open input; activated
with ground reference (GND)
1
Input normally closed; activated
by interruption of current loop
(input opening)
4
As parameter 0 with SMS send-
ing even when the INx input
returns to its normal position
5
As parameter 1 with SMS send-
ing also on return to normal
position of INx input
Programming SMS example ;IN1=0;
- parameters ID1 and ID2 determine the
pulse duration in seconds required to
trigger the alarm signal at inputs 1 and
2 respectively. The pulse duration in
seconds can vary from 0.5 seconds
to 9999 seconds. The default setting
is 0.5 seconds (since a pulse duration
of 0 seconds makes no sense), the
0.5 second duration is conventionally
configured with the value 0. Program-
ming SMS example ;ID1=0;).
- parameters DD1 and DD2 are used to
define the delay in seconds (0÷9999)
between the time when the alarm
condition occurs at input 1 or 2 and
when the device acquires the alarm
signal.
Programming SMS example ;DD1=1;
Mi 2591
(alarm)
