Ensure that no part of the refrigerant circuit is damaged when
transporting and installing the appliance.
Where possible, always transport the appliance upright. If tilt-
ed to an angle of more than 40° during transport, wait 4 hours
before connecting it to the mains and switching it on to ena-
ble the refrigerant circuit to settle after transport.
Do not place the appliance on its side or back, as this can
cause oil from the compressor to enter and block the refriger-
ant circuit.
Do not expose the appliance to rain or spray water.

dling.
Install the freezer in a dry and ventilated room. The room
should be around 4 m², so there will be sufficient air volume
available if the cooling system becomes damaged.
Take the space requirements into consideration when setting
up the appliance (see '6.1. Setting up the appliance' on page
94).
The appliance is suitable for climate classes N and ST (see the
type plate). Correct cooling performance of the appliance
is guaranteed at ambient temperatures from 16°C to 38°C. If
temperatures deviate from this range, the appliance perfor-
mance may be reduced.
