Product usage
Before first use
•
Clean the unit ( Cleaning and maintenance).
Choosing the beer keg
•
BEERTENDER keg sealing system.
•
Follow the safety and storage instructions indicated on the keg itself.
•
Check that the keg has not been damaged or passed its expiry date.
•
Protect the walls of the keg from deterioration. Otherwise, you may find it difficult to
make the suction hose reach.
•
Keep the keg cool for 12 hours before use, but not in the cold.
•
Do not shake the keg beforehand.
•
Do not expose the keg to direct sunlight.
Use
•
Position the unit on a flat, horizontal surface. In order to ensure that the unit is well
ventilated, keep a gap of at least 10 cm between each side of the unit and walls or other
units.
Attach the tap handle and drainer to the unit.
Close the drain valve.
Press the lid release button. The beer keg compartment will open.
Pour 800 ml of cold water into the beer keg compartment. Do not fill with water
beyond the MAX mark.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the green part from the top of the Heineken
beer keg.
Attach the supplied connector to the hose.
Connect the connector to the top of the BEERTENDER keg.
While fitting the connector onto the beer keg, snap the connector tabs in place.
•
Connect the power plug to an appropriate mains socket.
