Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance tasks, the power cord must be
unplugged from the socket.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the compressor is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The compressor must be thoroughly cleaned after each
use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the compressor.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and screws firmly tightened.
If you remove components or safety devices to carry out
maintenance work, they must be replaced and repositioned
immediately and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved attachable accessories for this
appliance or technically identical parts. Failure to do so
may result in personal injuries or damages to the air
compressor. If in doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources,
you should contact an official dealer.
The compressor should only be serviced by the brand's
technical assistance center, or other qualified personnel,
replacing any necessary parts with original parts.
The compressor must be assembled with the wheels and
placed on a horizontal and firm surface, capable of bearing
its weight and vibrations during operation. Never use the
compressor in a surface with a slope of more than 15°.
If the compressor is installed in a permanently fixed
structure, it is recommended to place dampers between the
air tank support base and the ground. The air tank's
support base must not be fixed directly on the ground.
The compressor must be installed in a well-ventilated area
and with enough space for maintenance tasks. Ensure that
the distances between the compressor and any obstacle
are enough to carry out these tasks. The compressor must
be at least 50 cm away from any wall or obstacle.
Avoid discharge pipes and extension cords that are too
long. If possible, the compressor should be installed
nearby the equipment that will consume the generated
compressed air.
Install the compressor in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated
location. Never install it in damp places or in a location
where there is a risk of being hit by water projection.
Install the compressor in a room, free of dust, chemicals,
vapors, explosives, or flammable gases.
