4.1. DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTRUMENT
4.2. DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION KEYS
4.2.1. Key
Press the key to switch on the instrument. After start-up, display backlight is active, and
deactivates automatically after approx. 30s. Press and hold the
switch off the instrument.
4.2.2. HOLD/ key
Press the HOLD/
display. Symbol "H" is displayed when this function is activated. Press and hold the
HOLD/ key for approx. 2s to activate/deactivate display backlight.
4.2.3. MAX/MIN key
Pressing the MAX MIN key once activates the detection of maximum and minimum values
of the quantity being tested. Both values are constantly updated and are displayed
cyclically every time the same key is pressed again. The display shows the symbol
associated with the selected function:
value. The MAX/MIN key is not active when the HOLD function is activated. Press and
hold the MAX/MIN key for 2s to quit the function.
4.2.4. Auto Power OFF function
The instrument switches off automatically approximately 15 minutes after it was last used.
