Transport and storage
4.1 Safety instructions
Risk of injury and damage!
When lifting the mounted screen, the
fastening screws may tear.
Grab only the base frame when
transporting or moving the desk
including screen.
4.2 Interim storage
If you want to store the screen temporarily before
setting it up, you must fulfil the following
conditions:
Undamaged transport packaging
■
Sufficient carrying capacity of the floor
■
Dry floor
■
Level storage surface
■
Temperature range +5 °C to +40 °C
■
Max. rel. humidity: 90 %
■
4.3 Checking the delivery
contents
After unpacking, check the product immediately for
transport damage and completeness; if applicable,
inform the manufacturer as soon as possible of any
damage.
4.4 Disposing the packaging
material
The packaging includes the following:
Outer packaging made of cardboard
■
Bubble wrap made of polyethylene (PE)
■
Edge protectors made of cardboard or
■
polyethylene (PE)
Corner protectors made of polyethylene (PE)
■
These materials are recyclable. If installed by
Steelcase or an installer authorised by Steelcase,
the manufacturer will dispose of the packaging. If

you install yourself, be sure to separate the
material according to type and return to the
recycling process.
4.5 Installing the screen
For installing the Divisio Acoustic Screen, please
follow the attached installation instructions.
Steelcase recommends that a specialist
dealer or installer carries out the
installation.
4.6 Attaching accessories
For attaching accessories to the Divisio Acoustic
Screen, please follow the attached installation
instructions.
4.7 Removing the screen
The Divisio Acoustic Screen can be
disassembled. Disassembly should be carried out by
qualified personnel. Please follow the separate
recycling and disassembly instructions.
Before disassembling the product:
Remove all objects from the screen.
Remove all accessories from the screen.
If you would like to dismantle the Divisio
Acoustic Screen for good and dispose of
it, please refer to the information given
under
7 Disposal.
