NOTICE:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way.
This appliance comes with a resettable thermal
device to prevent damage to the motor in the
case of extreme overload. Should the unit shut
off unexpectedly, unplug it and let it cool for
at least 15 minutes before continuing (see "To
reset the unit," on page 6).
Maximum of 800 watts rated power is based on
jar attachment. Other attachments may draw
significantly less power.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove and discard all packaging materials.
CAUTION: Exercise care when unpacking blade
assembly, as the blades are sharp.
2. Wash blender jar, lid, and blade assembly
(see page 6).
Note: Handle the blade assembly by gripping
around the perimeter of the base.
To assemble the blender, follow the Assembly
instructions on page 5 in this instruction
booklet.
Before using for the first time: Wash all parts
according to the Cleaning and Maintenance
section on page 6 of this booklet to remove any
dust or residue.
