Conformance
General statement of conformity
The enclosed instrument has been calibrated in accordance with the manufacturer's
veri昀椀cation procedure using standards that are traceable to UK national standards. The test
location's quality management system complies with, and its calibration process is controlled
under, ISO 9001:2015. The calibration processes are designed to certify that the instrument
was within its published speci昀椀cation at the time of calibration. The measurements were
made in a monitored environment.
A full calibration certi昀椀cate including test data and traceable to national standards is available

FCC notice
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause
harmful interference which the user will be required to correct at their own expense.

This PicoScope oscilloscope meets the intent of the CE EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and
Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
Step 3: Connect your oscilloscope
Make sure you have installed the PicoScope software before you connect the oscilloscope. The
oscilloscope will not work without the software.

USB and power connection options
Use only the high-quality USB-C cables and optional Pico PSU supplied with your PicoScope.
There are different connectivity and power supply options for your oscilloscope depending on
USB-C power available:
A. PicoScope 3000E oscilloscope
B. USB-C cable
C. Computer
Computer USB-C port provides 3 A
A. PicoScope 3000E oscilloscope
B. USB-C or USB-C to A cable
C. Computer
D. USB-C power supply to the 5 V
oscilloscope input
Computer USB-C port cannot provide 3 A, or USB-A port
The USB-C and 5 V connectors on the rear of the oscilloscope allow screw-locking for secure
connection:

Oscilloscope installation
Once you have connected your oscilloscope to a computer using the appropriate USB cable,
your operating system will install the device automatically.
