COMPATIBILITY FOR USE:
The device is for use with a fall arrest system as defined in the product data sheet (see standard EN 363) to guarantee that the dynamic force exerted on
the user during the arrest of a fall is 6 kN max. A fall arrest harness (EN 361) is the only body-gripping device that may be used. It can be dangerous to
create one's own fall arrest system in which each safety function can interfere with another safety function. Therefore, it is important to read the recom-
mendations on using each component in the system before use.
INSPECTION:
The recommended service life of the equipment is unlimited, but its service life may be reduced based on how it is used and/or the result of annual
inspections. The equipment must be systematically checked if in doubt or after a fall and at least every twelve months by the manufacturer or by a com-
petent person,* in strict compliance with the manufacturer's periodic inspection procedures (in particular Inspection Guides ref. GI XX-XXXXXX-XX),
in order to ensure its strength and therefore the user's safety. The equipment data sheet should be completed (in writing) after each product inspection.
The date of inspection performed and the date of the next inspection must be indicated on the data sheet. We also recommend that the date of the next
inspection be marked on the equipment itself.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
During transport, keep the equipment away from any sharp parts and keep the equipment in its packaging. Clean with water, wipe with a cloth and hang
in a ventilated room to dry naturally, ensuring that it is away from any direct light or any source of heat; the same applies for elements that may have
become wet during use. The device must be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated room, ideally in its original packaging.
