Assembly
Fitting the support bars
The mitre saw is supplied with two support bars (5, 16) to
add support to any large or wide work piece. The
support bar can be fitted on both sides of the mitre
saw, depending on the position and dimensions of
the work piece.
1.Attach the support bars (5, 16) to the holes located on
the both sides of the mitre saw.
2.Conduct a short test-run with a work piece.
Fitting the adjustable depth stop
If repeated cuts of the same length are required,
provided adjustable depth stop (15) can be used.
1.Slide the depth stop (15) over one of the support bars.
2.Adjust the depth stop (15) to the required position.
3.Tighten the length stop locking screw (17).
Check the electroBtool for possible damage
Before further use of the electro-tool, check that all the
protective devices are fully functional. Any lightly
damaged parts must be carefully checked to ensure
flawless operation of the tool. All parts must be properly
mounted and all conditions fulfilled that ensure faultless
operation.
Damaged protective devices and parts must be
immediately replaced by an authorised service centre.
Initial Operation
Remove all parts supplied carefully from the packaging.
Remove all packing material from the electro-tool and
the accessories provided.
Stationary or Flexible Mounting
To ensure safe handling, the electro-tool must be
mounted on a flat and stabile working surface (e.g.,
workbench). If the electro-tool is not mounted in this
manner, it could tip over.

Stationary Mounting
Attach the electro-tool with suitable screw fasteners to
the working surface. The holes 14 serve for this purpose.
Flexible Mounting
Clamp the electro-tool with commercially available screw
clamps by the feet to the working surface.
Operating instructions
Transportation
Lift and transport the mitre saw only when the cutting arm
is locked in down position (picture H), the saw is switched
off and plug is removed from the power outlet.
1.To transport the power tool, secure the cutting knob (9)
to lock the mitre saw table (7).
2.Only fit the mitre saw by carrying handle (26). Do not lift
the saw by blade guard (1) or operating handle (23).
Switching the mitre saw On/Off
Caution!
Before switching the mitre saw on, make sure that it has
been correctly assembled and adjusted.
1.This mitre saw is designed for right hand use. Grip the
operating handle (23) with right hand and squeeze
the On/Off switch (24).
2.Allow the motor to reach full speed.
3.Retract the blade guard (1) by pulling the blade guard
release lever (25) with your index finger.
4.Make sure your fingers are far away from the saw blade
area.
5.Lower the cutting arm to the work piece.
6.Release the blade guard release lever (25).
7.To stop the mitre saw release the On/Off switch (24),
allow the saw blade to stop rotating and raise the saw
blade (2) from the work piece.
8.Do not stop the saw blade (2) by applying lateral
pressure.
Cross cutting and mitre cross cutting
(without slide action)
Picture E. When cutting narrow work pieces it is not
necessary to use a slide cutting arm. In this case make
sure that the slide bar lock (43) is secured. A cross cut is
