1. Check all connections prior to each use.
2. Turn on the gas supply.
3. Press down the control knob and turn the knob counter-clockwise to PILOT position.
4. Hold the control knob down and press IGNITION until the pilot flame lights up.
5. Continue to hold the knob down for 10 seconds and release.
If the pilot flame fails to ignite, press down the knob and turn clockwise to OFF. Repeat the steps above.
CHOOSING THE BURNER INTENSITY
1. The pilot flame should be lit and the control knob set to PILOT.
2. Press the knob down and turn counter-clockwise to HIGH.
3. Turn the knob clockwise from HIGH to LOW as needed.
Note: The burner may be noisy when initially turned on. To eliminate excessive noise from the burner,
turn the control knob to the pilot position. Then turn the knob to the desired heat level.
RE-LIGHTING THE APPLIANCE
1. Turn the control knob to OFF.
2. Wait at least 5 minutes to let gas dissipate before attempting to re-light.
3. Repeat the steps to turn on the appliance.
TO TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE
1. Press down the knob and turn to OFF.
2. Turn off the valve on the gas supply cylinder to shut down the heater completely.
