Note
◊ The choice of the toast setting depends on your own taste but also on the type
and freshness of the bread. As an indication, you can use the following:
◊ Lower setting: Sweet bread products (waffles, raisin bread, etc.), thin bread, old
bread, white bread.
◊ Higher setting: thick bread, fresh bread, rye bread.
3.3 Making sandwiches
ATTENTION!
◊ The metal part of the sandwich clamps gets hot. Carefully remove the bread
without touching the metal of the clamps.
1. Take two thin slices of bread of your choice.
2. Top the inside of the sandwich with a thin layer as desired.
3. Place the sandwich in the sandwich clamp.
4. Place the sandwich clamps in the toaster.
5. To make one sandwich, set the setting to 4-5. To make two sandwiches at once,
set the setting to 5-6.
6. Push the slide lever all the way down.
7. When the toaster is ready, grab the sandwich clamps by the plastic levers and
remove them from the slots.
8. Place the clamps on a heat-resistant surface and carefully remove the sandwiches.
Note
◊
Defrost the bread before making a sandwich.
◊
If the sandwich is spread too thick, the bread may brown but the cheese may not
melt completely.
◊
Place the sandwich only in the lower part of the sandwich clamp. The top sticks
out above the toaster.
