Unlocking the buttons
Press and hold the Timer button and the Boost Mode button to unlock the buttons.
Timer
You can set the timer in two different manners:

You can use it as an external timer. In this case, no cooking zone will be switched off when
-
the timer ends.
You can set it so one or both cooking zones turn off once the time expires.

The maximum time is 99 minutes.

Using the timer as an external timer

1. Make sure the hob is on.
2. Press the timer button, the timer indicator will start flashing and the timer display will
show 10.
3. Set the time by using the – or + buttons of the timer.
4. Press the – or + buttons simultaneously to cancel the timer and the time display will
show 00.
5. Once time is confirmed, the countdown will start automatically. The display will show the
remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
6. When the countdown ends, it will beep for 30 seconds, and the timer indicator will show
- -.
Please note
You can use the timer even if you have not selected any cooking zone.
Tips
Press the + or – buttons on the timer once to increase or decrease the time in 1-minute
-
intervals.
Hold down the + or – buttons on the timer to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute
-
intervals.
Using the timer to turn off a cooking zone

1. Press the cooking-zone selection button of the area you wish to programme the timer for..
2. Press the timer button, the timer indicator will start flashing and the timer display will
show 10.
3. Set the time by using the – or + buttons of the timer.
4. Press the – or + buttons at once to cancel the timer and the time display will show 00.
5. Once time is confirmed, the countdown will start automatically. The display will show the
remaining time and the timer indicator will flash for 5 seconds.
