Procedure (Fig. A)
• Try connecting the external suction
hose (18) (not included) directly to the
dust extraction connection (7).
• If this does not succeed, insert the ad-
apter for dust extraction (16) into the
connection for dust extraction (7). Con-
nect the external suction hose (18) to
the adapter for dust extraction.
• Adapter for dust extraction (16) and
external suction hose (18) can be eas-
ily pulled off the connection for dust ex-
traction (7).
Replacing the sanding sheet
Notes
• The sanding disc is fitted with Vel-
cro. This allows you to attach sanding
sheets easily and safely.
• Only use sanding sheets that match the
size and shape of the sanding disc.
• Before you put on a sanding sheet:
Clean the sanding disc, especially the
Velcro fabric. Use a vacuum cleaner for
this purpose, for example.

1. Place the sanding sheet (14) on the
sanding disc (8).
2. Press the sanding sheet firmly.
3. Check the following: Holes in the sand-
ing sheet and suction holes in the sand-
ing disc match. Otherwise, the dust ex-
traction system will not work.

1. Pull off the sanding sheet (14).
2. Clean the sanding disc (8), especially
the Velcro fabric.

1. Remove the sanding sheet (14).
2. Loosen the four Phillips screws (22).
3. Remove the sanding disc (8).
Mounting the sanding disc (Fig. C)
1. Align the holes for the Phillips screws
in the sanding disc (8) and the mount
(23).
2. Insert all Phillips screws (22) into the
holes. Tighten the Phillips screws until
they just hold.
This prevents the sanding disc from
twisting against the mount when you
tighten the Phillips screws.
3. Tighten the Phillips screws (22).

1. Fasten the edge guide (10) with the
wing screw (12) to one of the two
holders (6).

protection
The edge protection lets you avoid con-
tact with walls, windows or the like during
work and the associated kickback or dam-
age.
Procedure
1. Push the edge protection (13) into the
groove (9).
It will lock into place.
