out gently. Discard the collected water.
Replace the water tank by pressing it firmly into place with both hands (Fig. 3).
If the tank is not positioned properly, the water full alarm LED light will be activated, and
the dehumidifier will not operate.
Continuous water drainage
The unit features a continuous drainage port. Use a plastic pipe with an inner diameter of
10 mm and insert it into the drain hole located on the intermediate plate (Fig. 4).
The water in the drainage tank can be continuously drained out from the continuous
port on the unit.
Note: Water pipe cannot be too long (usually 0.6 m), the height cannot surpass the hei-
ght of drainage port, or there will be water leakage.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Turn off the unit and disconnect the power plug before starting any cleaning task.
Cleaning the body
Wipe the dehumidifier with a dry and soft cloth. To remove heavy dirt, wipe it with a
cloth wrung tightly. Never use a wet cloth for cleaning the control panel. DO NOT IM-
MERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
To avoid any deformation or cracking, do not use benzene, thinner or liquid cleaners.
Chemicals may cause change in the colour of the unit.
Cleaning the air filter
It is recommended you to clean the filter every 2 weeks. When the air cleaning filter is
blocked, the dehumidification capacity will be reduced.
Pull out to remove the filter box (Fig. 5)
Run a vacuum cleaner lightly over the surface of air filter to remove dirt. If the air filter
is too dirty, wash it with warm water and mild cleanser and dry thoroughly (Fig. 6).
Insert the filter into the unit smoothly (Fig. 7)
Storing the dehumidifier
When the unit is not being used for a long period of time and you want to store it, note
the following steps:
1. Empty any water left in the water tank.
2. Fold up the power supply cord and put it in the water tank.
3. Clean the air filter.
4. Store in a cool and dry place.
