OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORDLESS DRILL/DRIVER AND CORDLESS IMPACT
DRILL/DRIVER.
1. OVERVIEW

1. Quick-action chuck
Insert the tool and clamp.
2. Torque setting ring with drilling position/impact drilling position

Select the torque setting for drilling or impact drilling.
3. Two drilling speeds
ST-1200 ST-1201
ST-1440 ST-1441
ST-1800 ST-1801
Select the speed when the power tool is at a stand-still.
4. Selector switch for clockwise and anti clockwise rotation
Select the direction of rotation when the power tool is at a stand-still.
Lock-off in central position.
5. Switch
For switching ON/OFF.
The speed depends on the amount of pressure exerted on the switch.
6. Battery unlocking button
Press the button to remove the battery from the power tool.
7. Charger
Remove the battery from the power tool and charge using the original battery charger.

2. GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR SAFE HANDLING
Wear eye protection and ear protection.
1. Make sure that the charger is connected to a socket whose voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the charger
identification plate.
2. Never use the tool if its cover or any bolts are missing. If the cover or bolts have been removed, replace them prior to
use. Maintain all parts in good working order.
3. Always secure tools when working in elevated positions.
4. Never touch the drill bits, or other moving parts during use.
5. Never start a tool when one of its rotating components is in contact with the work place.
6. Never lay a tool down before its moving parts have come to a complete stop.
7. Wear ear protectors which dampen the sound pressure level.
8. ACCESSORIES. The use of accessories or attachments other than those recommended in these instructions might present
a hazard.
9. REPLACEMENT PARTS: Only identical spare parts must be used as replacement parts.
3. CORDLESS (IMPACT) DRILL / DRIVER SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be aware that this tool is always ready to operate, since it does not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
2. First, charge the battery.
