This Popcorn Maker is designed for all regular and premium brands of popcorn. Yel-
low popcorn generally pops larger than white popcorn. Organic popcorn is not highly
recommended for this machine.
Please note to use fresh popcorn as older dried popcorn can scorch and cause
smoking in the unit.
Popcorn can be a healthy snack without adding butter. To lighten up your calorie
count, douse your popcorn with herbs, garlic, and just a little margarine.
Here are some sample recipes to get you started and try out the Popcorn Maker and
pop some flavored popcorns at home!
BASIC SEASONING
- Melt butter or margarine in the microwave. Pour over the popped popcorn and toss
with salt.
- Spray with your favorite flavored vegetable spray and sprinkle with herbs-garlic
power, chili powder, basil or powder, chili powder, basil or oregano.
- Toss with grated Parmesan Cheese, if you like.
HANDY TIP
Put freshly popped popcorn in a clean brown paper bag, add your melted margarine
and seasonings, shake and enjoy!
KETTLE CORN
Coat fresh popcorn with margarine or spray with vegetable spray. Toss with 1/4 cup of
sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Fresh and fast 'Kettle Corn'!
GARLIC-HERB POPCORN
Mix 2 teaspoons each – dry oregano leaves, dry basil leaves and dry thyme leaves.
Add 1 teaspoon each garlic powder and onion powder: stir well.
Pour the freshly made popcorns into a bowl, add margarine and stir well.
Toss with herb mixture.
Per cup: approximately 43 calories.
