Before putting the hob away, make sure it has cooled down completely.
•
The hob must not come into contact with flammable surfaces or materials
(such as curtains or fabrics of various kinds).
•
The power cord must not come into contact with water or other liquids.
•
Do not move the appliance when the pot or pan are on it.
•
Do not heat the empty pan or overheat the pan.
•
Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans and
aluminum foil on the top plate.
•
Use the appliance with sufficient space around it. When the appliance is in
operation, it must be positioned at least 10 cm from the wall. Keep the front
and the right or left side of the appliance free.
•
Do not use the appliance on carpets or tablecloths (vinyl) or other items with
low heat resistance.
•
Do not place a sheet of paper / silver paper between the pot / pan and the
appliance. The paper could burn.
•
Do not break the surface of the appliance. If the surface is cracked, turn it off
immediately and take it to a qualified service center.
•
Do not block the air intake or exhaust vent.
•
Do not touch the top plate immediately after removing the pot or pan, as the
top plate will still be very hot.
•
Avoid placing credit cards, memory devices, or any other object that could
demagnetize on the hob.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
•
The hob must be placed on a stable, flat and perfectly horizontal surface.
•
Do not store or use the hob outside, where it can be exposed to the elements.
•
Do not store or use the hob near an oven or other heat source.
•
During use, some parts of the hob can be remarkably hot: it is recommended
not to touch them, in order to avoid the risk of burns.
•
Avoid repairing, modifying or tampering with the hob yourself.
•
During use, metal utensils that could overheat should not be placed on the
hob, such as cutlery, forks, ladles or lids.
•
The ignition of the hob must not be controlled by an external timer or other
remote control devices.
