Using the clipper
To attach or remove a guide comb:
1. Make sure the clipper is switched off and disconnected from the power
supply.
2. Hold the selected guide comb with its teeth upwards and slide it onto and
along the clipper blades
3. Press the guide comb down gently until it clicks into place.
4. To remove the guide comb, pull and slide the guide comb upwards and
away from the clipper blades (see Fig. D).
Operating the clipper
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper use of the clipper may result in injury to yourself and
your pet.
− During clipping, take care not to cut into loose skin. Always
ensure you hold the clipper with the clipper blades
running parallel to the skin.
− While using the clipper, untwist the power cord from time
to time to avoid tangling.
− Turn the clipper off frequently during clipping and touch
the clipper blades to make sure they are not getting too
warm. Hot blades can burn your pet.

2. Plug the power cord
3. Slide the on/off switch
4. Push the clipper through the hair at the speed it will cut. If you go too fast,
the clipper will stall.

5. Slide the on/off switch to the OFF position to switch the clipper off.
6. Unplug the power cord from the outlet after use.
