Cleaning and maintenance
− Do not put the clipper in the dishwasher, as this will
destroy it.
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Let the clipper cool off completely.
3. Take off the guide comb and wash it in soapy water. Then let it dry
completely.
4. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the clipper. Then let all parts dry completely.
5. Use the cleaning brush
If necessary, rinse the detached clipper blades (see chapter "Replacing the
clipper blades") under warm running water, but make sure not to submerge
any other part of the clipper in water. Wipe off excess water before allowing
the clipper to air dry.
6. When the clipper blades are completely dry, apply lubricating oil
them (see chapter "Oiling the clipper blades").

Cleaning other accessories

− Remove the hair attached to the pet brush
washing them in soapy water. Then let them dry completely.
− Clean the scissors
use with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a clean dry cloth. Rub all metallic
parts with an oily cloth and lubricate moving parts regularly. For clean cuts,
sharpen the blades when necessary.

1. Spread 1–2 drops of the lubricating oil
blades of the clipper (see Fig. F).
2. Slide the on/off switch
to disperse the oil.
3. Remove excess oil with a dry cloth.
Only use a light grade lubricating oil as this will not evaporate
nor slow down the speed of the clipper blades. Do not use hair
oil, grease or oil mixed with kerosene or any other solvent as the
solvents will evaporate and leave a thick oil, which may slow the
blade movement.
