Wash and rinse the Immersi-Prep 14 prior to inital use and after each use with
a washing solution containing 8 ounces (.25 liters) of a non-abrasive and
non-corrosive cleaner (like Simple Green
liters) of warm water (750F / 240C).
1.
Unplug the power cord from a power outlet.
2.
Rinse the blending wand and bell guard assembly under running water.
3.
Submerge the blending wand and bell guard assembly 3/4 of its length in a
container with the washing solution and run for 30 seconds at high speed.
4.
Rinse blending wand and bell guard assembly under running water again.
5.
Wipe the blending wand with a clean, dry towel and let the bell guard
section air dry.
6.
Remove the whisk beaters from the whisk gear housing.
7.
Wash the whisk beaters in the washing solution and let air dry.
8.
Wipe down the motor assembly, whisk gear housing, and pot clip with a
soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water only.
NOTES:
NEVER submerge the motor assembly, whisk gear housing, and pot clip in
water or place in the dishwasher.
The whisk beaters and blending wand can be washed in the dishwasher.

Sanitize with a rinsing solution containing 12 teaspoons (59 milliliters) of institu-
tional or household bleach and 4 gallons (15 liters) of warm water (750F / 240C).
1.
First perform the "Easy Cleaning" instructions.
2.
Submerge the blending wand and bell guard assembly 3/4 of its length in a
container with the rinsing solution and run for 30 seconds at high speed.
3.
Wash the whisk beaters in the rinsing solution and let air dry.
4.
Allow the blending wand and bell guard assembly to air dry before use.
DO NOT rinse after sanitizing.
Store the Immersi-Prep 14 motor assembly and blending attachments using the
wall mount bracket. Install using screws and plugs (not included) suitable for
the wall surface and the intended load. Follow local codes and seek professional
advice before installation to ensure the location and hardware will withstand the
forces generated.
NOTES:
NEVER store anything other than the motor assembly or blending attach-
ments on the wall mount.
NEVER lean or hang anything additional on the wall mount bracket.
