Using a belt shortener
1.
Attach the belt shortener onto the side of the aircraft belt which has the
buckle tongue. Take care to position the belt shortener so that it sits on
the side of the car seat, not inside the hip belt guider. (1, 2)

Guide the aircraft seat belt through both sides of the belt shortener, so
that the center bar of the shortener is still visible. (3, 4, 5)
