Cause 
The water tank is not
properly assembled. 
The water level in the
tank exceeds the "MAX"
mark. 
There is too much water
in the drip tray.  
The coffee maker does
not work properly. 
There is ground coffee
on the edge of the filter. 
The machine has not
been cleaned properly
after
cleaning
the
mineral deposits. 
Ground coffee has been
stored in a hot, wet
place for a long time.
Coffee has turned bad. 
Solution
Insert the water tank correctly into
the water intake on the appliance's
base. 
The water level in the tank should lay
between the MIN and MAX marks. 
Clean the drip tray. 
Contact the official Technical Support
Service of Cecotec.  
Clean the filter edge. 
Clean the coffee maker as explained
in the Before use section. 
Use fresh ground coffee, or store the
it in a cool, dry place. After opening
a package of ground coffee, reseal it
tightly and store it in a refrigerator to
maintain its freshness.
