6 Pull the starter cord 1 or 2 times to prime. It is very unlikely that the
generator will startup in these pulls. If it startup, simply turn the choke to
right position (open air) and continue to point 9. On the other hand, it does
not start, continue in step 7.
7 Move the choke lever to the right side (RUNNING).
8 Pull softly again until you notice slight resistance, now allow the rope to coil
back and pull vigorously to start up the engine.
