2 Safety Notes
The units (receiver and power supply unit) cor-
respond to all relevant directives of the EU and
are therefore marked with
WARNING The power supply unit uses dan-
•
The units are suitable for indoor use only . Pro-
tect them against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range: 0 – 40 °C) .
•
Immediately disconnect the power supply
unit from the socket
1 . if one of the units is visibly damaged,
2 . if a defect might have occurred after a
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3 . if malfunctions occur .
In any case the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel .
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals .
•
No guarantee claims for the units and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or
or

material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated, or if they are not repaired in an
expert way .
If the units are to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, take them to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is
not harmful to the environment .
3 Applications
Combined with two transmitters IN-264TB / 5
or IN-264TH / 5 from JTS, the UHF PLL receiver
IN-264R / 5 creates a two-channel wireless audio
transmission system ideally suited for profes-
sional stage applications . Both receiver units
of the IN-264R / 5 use the diversity technology:
The signal transmitted is received by two anten-
.
gerous mains voltage . Leave ser-
vicing to skilled personnel only .
Inexpert handling of the unit
may result in electric shock .
nas placed at a distance from each other and
then checked for its quality . The signal with the
highest signal quality will be used .
The transmission system operates in the
UHF range 506 – 542 MHz . Six channel groups
with preset channels in different numbers
(22 max .) are available . Frequency matching is
very easy: Via a radio signal, the receiver unit
will set the transmitter to the same transmission
frequency (REMOSET function) .
3.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the receiver IN-264R / 5 complies with the
directive 2014 / 53 / EU . The EU declaration of
conformity is available on the Internet:
www .jts-europe .com
Restrictions or requirements apply in the
following countries:
CZ
DE
EL
IT
LT
MT
In the Federal Republic of Germany, the re-
ceiver requires a frequency assignment (for
which a fee is charged) . In other countries, it is
necessary to apply for a corresponding approval .
Prior to operating the unit outside Germany,
please contact the MONACOR subsidiary or
the corresponding authorities of the respective
country . Links to the national authorities can be

4 Rack Installation
Either use the receiver as a desktop unit or
install it into a rack for units with a width of
482 mm (19") . For rack installation, unscrew
the four feet . Fasten the two mounting brack-
ets (5) provided via two screws each to the left
and right sides of the receiver .
5 Connection
1) Insert the two antennas (1) provided into the
antenna jacks ANT . 1 and ANT . 2 (17) . Place
the antennas in a vertical position .
Hint: To increase the transmission range and the
interference resistance, the antenna amplifiers
UB-900I can be inserted . The amplifiers are supplied
with power via the antenna jacks of the receiver .
2) To connect the subsequent unit, e . g . mixer
or amplifier, the following audio outputs are
available:
AF OUTPUT BALANCED (11)
balanced XLR outputs, one each for the
signal of the receiver unit RX 1 and the
signal of the receiver unit RX 2, for con-
nection to a microphone input or highly
sensitive line input
AF OUTPUT Mixed / BALANCED (14)
balanced 6 .3 mm output jack for the
mixed signal of the two receiver units,
for connection to a microphone input or
a highly sensitive line input;
for connection to an unbalanced input,
use the cable provided
