5.1 MAINTENANCE GUIDE
Below are instructions for maintaining your spray:
Rinse with clean water externally and internally, to avoid risk of contamination. To keep your sprayer in good condition it is recommended to
change the following parts when servicing your sprayer (No. 501-204 -C1):
- Checks for O-rings and cylinder
- Gun o-rings
- Gasket
- Cap gasket
Disassembly instructions:
1.- Place the sprayer on a flat surface. Pull the pin from the upper end out of the pump lever.
2.- Loosen the pump holder nut and take the lever out.
3.- Pull out pump tube and check the plastic ball and the piston inside the tube, remove piston and make sure the ball and piston is clean
and in good shape, if not replace it.
3.- Once you replace it, repeat this steps backwards. Do not forget to lubricate it.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
The tank collapses when pressuring it.
The piston sleeve does not run smoothly
and it is hard to pump.
The piston sleeve runs too smoothly and
it does not keep pressure.
Although the sprayer is being pumped
vigorously it does not build pressure.
When pumping a creak is produced
between the pump tube and pump
holder nut.
The shut-off valve does not close after
releasing the trigger.
The shut-off valve does not function
when depressing the trigger.

OIL PUMP TUBE AND PISTON SLEEVE
ATTENTION
BEFORE ASSEMBLING IN THE SPRAYER
CAUSE
The breather check needs lubrication.
The agrichemical used has made the
piston sleeve to swell up.
The piston sleeve is worn out or shrunk.
The plasticball is stuck or dirt is
preventing the ball to sit properly
on the ball-holder nut.
The pump tube and pump holder nut
need lubrication.
The plunger O-rings are worn out or
swollen.
The filter or nozzle are blocked.

NOTE:
To lubricate all parts, use
multipurpose grease.
SOLUTION
Lubricate or replace it if it is damaged.
Replace the piston sleeve, lubricate it first.
Replace the piston sleeve, lubricate it first.
Clean the ball holder nut, and the ball,
replace them if necessary.
Lubricate both of them.
Replace them and lubricate the plunger
with the new O-rings.
Take the filter out of the shut-off valve,
clean or replace it and clean the nozzle.
