Using the subwoofer
(MHC-GN880 only)
You can use the sound of the subwoofer to
enhance the bass.

Press SUBWOOFER ON/OFF on the
subwoofer to turn on the subwoofer.
The indicator lights up when the subwoofer
is turned on.
Press the button again to turn off the
subwoofer.

Turn SUBWOOFER LEVEL to adjust
the level.
You will be able to listen to low bass
frequency sound.
Notes
• If you turn VOLUME (or press VOLUME +/– on the
remote), the volume for all speakers will change.
• When you turn on the system, the last selected
SURROUND SPEAKER MODE indicator on the
subwoofer lights up.
Tip
You can turn VOLUME (or press VOLUME +/– on the
remote) to adjust the volume of the subwoofer linked
to the front speakers.

Adjusting the graphic
equalizer and storing
— Personal file
You can adjust the sound by raising or lowering
the levels of specific frequency band, then store
up to three personal files (P FILE) in the
memory.

Press EQ EDIT repeatedly to select a
frequency band.

Turn MULTI JOG clockwise or
counterclockwise to adjust the level.

Press P FILE MEMORY.
A personal file number flashes.

Turn MULTI JOG clockwise or
counterclockwise to select a personal
file number (1~3) you want to store the
equalizer setting.

Press ENTER.
This setting is automatically stored as the
personal file you selected in step 4.
The previous setting stored at this memory
location is erased and replaced by the new
setting.
