9. MAINTENANCE

Nothing can impair the machine performance as seriously as the lint or fluff from the objects being
dried. The whole machine and all of its components must be kept free from lint or fluff
accumulations, which might impair its operation.
The whole machine must be vacuum-cleaned and wiped clean once a month.
The machine performance depends to a great extent on the cleanliness of its components.
The machine driving system (transmission, airing, heating, etc.) requires no maintenance
whatsoever. The whole machine has been designed for continuous maintenance-free operation.
9.1.

Lint filter:

To optimize the machine performance, it is advisable to clean the filter after 4 or 6 hours of
operation.
To clean the filter open the lower front door latch and sweep the surface helping yourself with a
broom. There is no need to dismantle it. This will ease the circulation of air and improve
performance of the machine.
9.2.

Heating battery:

With electric or thermal-fluid heating, it is advisable to avoid possible risks by removing the lint and
dust accumulations on the battery every other month.
9.3.

Air extractor:

Every month, check to see that the extractor blades are clean. Clogged blades prevent air flow.
